Hi - I was going to send my husband a link to this Forum because it says its for the ADHD people to support eachother - but it seems that most of the topics are for/by the partners of ADHD people. Have the forum topics switched around? Is there a place where I can direct my ADHD husband to view posts by people WITH ADHD?
Thanks!
ADHD partner comments

There is no one place on the website that is just for those with ADHD - these comments are interspersed throughout. If you are looking for a post about what it feels like to have ADHD, there is one here at my Psychology Today blog, and there is also information about this in my first book, The ADHD Effect on Marriage (which is a great overall introduction to the topic, so might be a very good place for your husband to start, actually.)
Thanks!

Thanks Melissa- I wasn't looking for me, I was looking for my husband who has ADHD. He is looking for posts and topics initiated by those who have ADHD and are the other side of the coin - so to speak - to their non/ADHD partners. The topic name confused me because it says this: "Where partners with ADHD can come for support, and to share their ideas and thoughts on how to improve their relationships". :-) I would suggest a forum category specifically geared towards the ADHD person so they can post and get feedback from OTHER people who have ADHD and can get support from each other. Sometimes it seems that having a "peer" speak to a situation can shed more light than someone in an opposite position.
Thanks for the link, I will read it and share it with my husband. I already have your book and am on my 3rd reading of it. Its what has helped me get this far. :-) He has read through it once already, and is starting to read through it again since he knows he doesn't absorb information on the first go at it (or even the second go). I have hope that it will help, it has at least helped me learn how to measure my responses and how to pull myself out if that makes sense.
Thanks!
