Note to self: make the 'to do list' the night BEFORE the day comes.
I say this as a start to a routine sched. I'm finding it exremeley hard to know what and where I should 'start' my very busy (or at least it should be) day. I just keep looking around and coming back to the screen.
Focus and Breathe. ... Calm and Steady. Relax and Go.
I'm finding that I might be/am overwhelming myself with my eternal 'need' for answers, explaination. I need to pace myself. And be kind to myself. It's me and 'IT' is going to be with me. Now and Then. Instead of me going along for the ride..I need to be behind the wheel. ....at least think I am.
Anyways...to do list nigh before.
Any other suggestions? What works? I've never done this so: remember...what may have not worked for you..might work for me and vice versa. I'm a novice player and nothing will be 'wrong'.
Thnx
Try the Brili App; works so great for organization :)

I have been using an up and coming ADHD app called Brili, featured in Additude magazine. It was created by a man whose son has ADHD. It's actually for children, but my son has been using it successfully, so I decided to try it. I have absolutely NO SHAME when it comes to treating my ADHD! You enter in a routine and assign tasks and times for each task and the days a routine takes place (Mon-Fri, for example). I have a "clean the kitchen" routine, for example. I know how to clean the kitchen, but I rarely do things in the same order, and that slows me down a bit. I also skip some tasks, remember them other times. I don't account for transitions. In other words, I act like a person with ADHD and have trouble with consistency and efficiency. I clean the kitchen daily, so you would think I would be efficient, but nope, I'm still me. Right now, each task has a cute kitty icon, but the President of Brili, Pierre Seguin, has promised me that that will change soon. It's a new company and a new app, and you may be able to still sign up and test the app and give feedback to him as I am. I love it. It thinks for me, and I'm starting to see where I make time and task mistakes. In the future, I am told there will be a way to see a graph of time usage and where task times are over or under-estimated, so we ADHD people can do that thing we stink at; learning from our mistakes. Time management has been the one area where I have made limited progress, and now that is changing thanks to this app.
I've tried everything, and this is the only thing that works, and it's fun! Every time you complete a task, you swipe the card. It's a little dopamine at a time; instant feedback!
Hmm...Thanks for the info!

Hmm...Thanks for the info! And OMG, I completely know what your saying about never doing the chores in the same order. I'm always setting the sequence yet...they sit. Dishes staring right at me!! Although I do know that part of my problem has to do with silent battles that me and my x have regarding who does them this time...
Thanks.
Maybe y'all can share like we do at times....

Hi c ur self!
Funny you should say that ;) . It's actually designed to have a minimalist appearance to reduce sensory overload. In other words, it doesn't look like a Candycrush screen. It only shows you the task at hand and a smaller version of the upcoming task. The colors are muted, and the screen isn't busy. There aren't 8 million unnecessary features either; that's where I would fall down the rabbit hole of distraction.
Hope you are doing well and that the weather where you are is better than here. It is SNOWING today! Arg!
Sounds like the guy who invented the app...knows a secret;)
