Hi there,
I'm new to this forum (been a fan of the books for a while though) so this is a shot in the dark.
Can anyone recommend a couples therapist in the UK please?
Ideally they'd have to specialise in on or more of these - ADHD, autism, bipolar, depression, PTSD.
Many thanks.

Hi - I have a list of therapists and resources in the UK at the bottom of my ADHD-savvy professionals page. If you wish, you might also contact Psychiatry-UK.com.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you so much! We found one within driving distance and are going to try them.

more info please :)

Hi Melissa - and anyone else reading this -
Many thanks Melissa for the info. We looked into all of these, but unfortunately none of the therapists take on new clients. (And unfortunately, nothing came up in the search directories as a match.) We are not keen on looking for a psychiatrist, because we are looking for the three legged treatment rather than a meds centred approach...
Any tips or info on UK or Netherlands based couples therapists would be very much appreciated.
Thanks again :) x
UK folks

Try the local groups such as ADDISS who might have lists of folks in the UK who could help. The only people I'm familiar with over there are on my ADHD-savvy therapists page. And I think you could talk with. psychiatrist and tell them that you wish to have a multi-legged approach, perhaps working with a coach in addition to a mental health professional. It sounds as if there are a number of co-existing conditions, and so you will want someone with good, solid knowledge as your key person helping with meds (if chosen).
