Considering CoDA
Submitted by Wifelife88 on
My H (ADD) and I have recently been reading about codependence and we both have the traits that impact our relationship. We are considering joining Codependence Anonymous as something we feel we would both benefit from and can do together. My understanding is that if there's no group in your area Al-anon is a good substitute. My reading of their info is that anyone would benefit.
My H went to AA 14 years ago when he gave up drinking - successfully. So all I can say is it's worth a try with everything to gain and not much to lose. Of course you will only get back what you put in.
