I can't find how to get my husband diagnosed and treated because the testing costs so much. Is there ANY way to get this man treated? He's ruining our lives.

can prescribe meds and can do many things a Doctor can do for far less money. Some are more specialized and can be quite experienced and knowledgeable......(same as a paralegal for example). I think they may need a confirmation from a doctor to actually prescribe meds or officially diagnose but it might be a possible way to circumvent the costs by doing it in a multi step process with a little more leg work involved? (possibly?)... they can fill the gaps in between and act as therapist/doctor/psychiatrist all rolled into one for a lot less money depending on finding the right one who is specialized enough to do this. I had one in my area and used her for years until she recently retired. Very knowledgeable and experienced and worked in the same office with a psychiatrist she could defer to for just certain things as needed.
