The diagnosis is a huge step. I'm an ADDer about three years after my diagnosis at age 43!?! I cannot believe how much better I feel, even though there is still a long way to go. The biggest thing is if your husband recognizes his ADD and deals with the difficult task of undoing years of bad coping mechanisms and takes his meds, get some counseling and continue to find out as much as possible about ADD and it's cruel effects on everyone. There are many who can help you here. Good luck!
