I have known parents who got it for children with ADHD (maybe it was SSI, not disability per se), but don't know of any adult receiving benefits for ADHD, although God knows it absolutely is a disability. However, there are career paths that tend to be a fairly good fit for people with ADHD (such as sales, entertainment, communications), so I don't know if it would be considered completely disabling to the extent that making a living would be impossible. Good question, though.
